This Tuesday, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 was finally presented. It represents the Chinese brand's vision for the future of the industry, being the first from the manufacturer to arrive with a front camera built into the screen.
It is also the first in the world to be equipped with the Snapdragon 888+ processor. It is also worth noting the fact that it comes with ultra-fast charging of 120W wired and 50W wireless, and keeping the tradition of ceramic construction.
But after all, what is the interior of the Mi MIX 4 like and what are the secrets it hides? That's what tech blogger Robin wanted to find out, through a video posted on Weibo social network (in Chinese).
From the dual battery, to the camera under the screen
As soon as the ceramic and metal structure is removed from the smartphone, we find components such as the cameras, the wireless charging coil, and the part of the double battery in sight. When this area is uncovered, components such as the columns or the vibration motor are seen in more detail.
But it is on the screen – or below it – that we find the smartphone's biggest highlight. The front camera is located at the top center of the equipment and is only visible in certain light conditions.
This beautifully polished product exemplifies what Xiaomi has always wanted to achieve with this line: uninterrupted screen experience. Too bad the smartphone will only be sold officially with Chinese ROM.
