The TOUGHLIQUID, available in ARGB and ULTRA versions, are in fact designed for those who are looking for high performance, but do not want or cannot create custom cooling.
The TOUGHLIQUID ARGB, that is the more “budget-friendly” version, is available with a radiator of 240, 280 (the latter protagonist of today's review) and 360mm and integrates, in the waterblock pump block, a standard lighting system that can be customized via software.
The management of the latter is delegated to a series of buttons inserted directly on the pump body; alternatively, you can use the RGB headers on the motherboard and manage the LEDs through the third-party software ASUS AURA Sync, GIGABYTE RGB Fusion, MSI Mystic Light and ASRock Polychrome.
To make it special compared to other systems from Thermaltake, there are the TOUGHFAN 14 fans capable of reaching 2000 RPM and generating an optimal air flow for the radiators without being, at least on paper, particularly noisy.
