There is a lot of anticipation for the debut of Samsung's new smartwatch. It is actually a real range, called Galaxy Watch 4, which should include different models, sporty and classic. It is precisely the Classic version that is the protagonist today, thanks to some rather eloquent images coming from the network.
Galaxy Watch Classic among other things, it will run Samsung's One UI Watch interface but will run on Google's Wear OS (which it now simply calls “Wear”). A real one unified platform between Tizen and the Google environment, as announced a few days ago by the South Korean manufacturer at the MWC in Barcelona.
As you can see, the leaked renders of Watch 4 Classic report 28 (July ??) as the date, which could represent the day of the announcement or the day of the launch. Or, as is often the case with these renders, it might not even mean anything.
There will be three versions of the Watch4 Classic, which is expected to be sold in 42mm, 44mm and 46mm dial options, in three colors: white, gray and black.
The Watch4 Classic case will be either stainless steel or aluminum (but both versions may also be available). Any 20mm strap will be compatible with Watch4 Classic, while two sizes will be included in the package: S / M and M / L. The display will be protected by Gorilla Glass DX or DX +, the former on the stainless steel version, the latter on the aluminum watches. DX + is a softer material and therefore “fits” better to aluminum and has better scratch resistance. Watch4 Classic offers water resistance up to 5ATM and will also be MIL-STD-810G certified.
