Google is sometimes criticized for letting some dangerous apps into the Play Store which poses major security issues. Needless to say, we all suffer from it. To try to end this problem, this company is implementing two new security measures that will result in more secure apps.
Play Store: Google has just ensured your security!
The problem with dangerous apps is that people usually launch them on the Google store with nothing wrong with built-in. However threats are downloaded later. Afterwards, the problem is discovered, even if one wants to find those responsible, it is difficult. However, this will resolve itself.
Google will now ask developers to submit their name, physical address, phone number and email address. Of course all this will be checked. Until now only an email and a phone number were needed.
However, the second step is to make two-step verification mandatory. In other words, all programmers who want to submit the app need to use two-factor authentication.
But these aren't the only rules implemented in the Play Store in the second half of the year.
The question is simple. Many programmers use a wide variety of tricks to make their apps more appealing. Writing words in caps is only possible if it is a brand name. Likewise, it will not be possible to include emojis in the name of the applications.
The titles of applications will be limited to 30 characters. Furthermore, they cannot encourage installation by including phrases like download now. Also, whoever promotes apps with special icons is out.
Note that Google will have a very heavy hand for everything. Who doesn't say goodbye. This for paid apps can be a drag. In practice, they will lose a lot of money if they leave Google's official application store.
The Play Store is available on here.
