Recently, relatively little has been said about the Honor brand. It is possible, however, that this is just the calm before the storm. In the end, the brand cut itself off from Huawei, and quite recently, information appeared on the web that Google services will return to smartphones. So a new opening awaits us, which will come true soon. On June 16, the new models Honor 50, Honor 50 Pro and Honor 50 SE will debut, which should show us where the brand is headed. We just got to know the approximate specification of these smartphones, their exact renders have also appeared. Contrary to what we thought so far, the new devices will not be fully flagship, although we are still talking about intriguing high-end models. Let's take a closer look at them.
All that remains is to wait for the disclosure of memory versions, additional information about screen refreshing or the prices of Honor 50 (Pro / SE) smartphones. Everything will be clear on June 16.
Honor 50 Pro will receive a 6.72-inch OLED screen with Full HD + resolution. Inside, there will be an efficient, though not top, Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G with 5G network support. We will take photos using the main 108 Mpix camera working with an ultra-wide 8 Mpix lens and two 2 Mpix sensors (macro and depth). A 32 Mpix + 12 Mpix double camera will be used for selfies and video calls. Inside there is a 4000 mAh battery with 100 W fast charging support, thanks to which it will take only 25 minutes to fully charge the smartphone. The dimensions of the device are 163.46 mm x 74.66 mm x 8.05 mm with a weight of 187 g, and it will work based on the Magic UI 4.2 system overlay.
Honor: The manufacturer's new smartphones will not receive the expected support for Google services in Android
The basic Honor 50 will only slightly differ from the strongest version. The smartphone will have a smaller, 6.57-inch OLED Full HD + screen, a single 32 Mpix front camera, a slightly larger 4300 mAh battery with a slower charging of 66 W, and the whole will measure 159.96 x 73.76 x 7.78 mm and weigh 175 g. The rest of the specification should be the same as for the Pro variant. In addition to two high-end models, there will also be one medium, the Honor 50 SE. It will receive a 6.78-inch IPS screen with Full HD + resolution, MediaTek Dimensity 900 chip (with support for 5G), triple 100 Mpix camera + 8 Mpix wide angle + 2 Mpix macro and a 4000 mAh battery (66 W charging). It will be the largest and heaviest smartphone in the series (164.73 x 75.63 x 8 mm, 191 g). So it only remains to wait for the disclosure of memory versions, additional details (e.g. about refreshing the screen) or device prices. Everything will be clear on June 16.
