The Epic Games Store offers two new games to its players, Defense Grid: The Awakening and Verdun. The offer is not eternal. It ends on July 29 at 5 p.m.
Defense Grid: The Awakening is a defense and fortifications game. Developed and published by Hidden Path Entertainment, this title landed on PC on December 8, 2008.
“It is up to you to stop the invasion by strategically placing your constructions. Special effects, dynamic environments and an original soundtrack bring you a new gaming experience. The controls are intuitive and the tower properties allow you to achieve victory in many different ways.
- Replayable Gameplay – Approximately 8 hours of gameplay in the main story and several more hours with the different challenges. Each level can be replayed in many ways.

For its part Verdun is a multiplayer FPS released on PC on April 28, 2015. Developed after M2H, Blackmill Games and published by M2H, it offers players in a realistic environment within the First World War.

The recommended PC configuration for Defense Grid: The Awakening is based on a dual-core processor powered at 2 GHe and 2 GB of RAM. The game requires 1 GB of storage space while the graphics part relies on a Radeon X700 or better or a GeForce 7600 or better.
Verdum is more demanding. The PC must have a Core i5-2500K or a Phenom II X4 940 processor, 4 GB of RAM and a GeForce GTX 960M or a Radeon HD 7750 or newer. Storage space climbs to 12 GB and internet connection is required. Note that the recommended table on 8 GB of random access memory (RAM) and 4 GB of video memory (VRAM).
